What means Nano Diamond's battery

A transition to clean energy is about investing in our future

Nano Diamond battery

It was a nuclear base type battery that was recycled by atomic waste to produce electricity. The corporation NDB propagate these kinds of battery and says it was a green source of energy.
It was recycled from a waste of a graphite moderator reactor which is used in the nuclear reactor. The corporation (NDB)said after the complete use of the battery it was disposed of without any harm to the environment.

Now we talk about the process of reuse of graphite nuclear waste
graphite was an allotrope of carbon.
carbon-14 nucleus radiate into Nitrogen-14 nucleus+Anti neutrino+β-decay electron.

radioactive graphite gives radioactive diamonds containing C-14.
this way the energetic electron least from radioactive decay scatters into deposit energy in the diamond to generate a shower of an electron as many as 3600 electrons an average of up to 11400 in its trap it generates own energy.

How it works

The battery is known as Diamond Nuclear Voltaic (DNV), where a combination of a semiconductor, metal, and ceramic has two contact surfaces to facilitate charge collection. Several single units are attached to create a stack arrangement, which is fabricated to create a positive and negative contact surface similar to a common battery system. Every layer of the DNV stack consists of a high-energy output source.

Within the DNV, radioisotopes are placed in a way that facilitates inelastic scattering originating due to the presence of a single crystalline diamond in the unit. At the same time, stacks along with the source are coated with a layer of polycrystalline diamond, which is known for being the most thermally conductive and hardest material and also can contain the radiation within the device.
